Shahriar Revolutionary Court; Mohammad Habibi was Tried

The hearing on the #Mohammad_Habibi’s charges, the spokesperson of the Tehran Teachers Union, was held in the Shahriar courthouse. This teacher has been tried on charges of assembly and collusion with examples of tweets about protesting the poisoning of schools and defending the rights of students.

According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the spokesperson of the Tehran Teachers Union, Mohammad Habibi’s charges trial was held at the Shahriar Prosecutor’s Office, on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024.

Ramin Safarnia, Mr. Habibi’s defense lawyer, while publishing this news, wrote: “Today, on January 10th, 2024, the hearing of my client Mohammad Habibi in the Shahriar Revolution Court on charges of assembly and collusion with examples of tweets regarding the protest against the poisoning of schools and the defense of intellectual rights The classes were held.

Mohammad Habibi, Spokesperson for the Tehran Teachers’ Trade Association, Sentenced to Prison for Protesting Student Poisonings

#Mohammad_Habibi, spokesperson for the Tehran Teachers’ Trade Association, has been sentenced to six months and one day in prison for protesting the serial poisonings of students.

According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Mr. Habibi announced this news in a message on the social media platform X.

His prison sentence was issued in a case formed following protests against the student poisonings in various schools across Iran.
