Three Labor Activists Sentenced to Two Years in Prison for Forming a "Labor Union"
#Mohammad_Iran_Nejad, #Nasrollah_Amirloo, and #Morteza_Saeedi, three labor activists, have each been sentenced to two years in prison.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, these individuals have been charged with “forming a group called the labor union with the intention of disrupting national security.”
The sentences were issued by the Second Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Shahriar and were communicated to the labor activists on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
The court session to address these charges was held on May 27, 2023.
