Prison Sentence for Solmaz Hassan-Zadeh, Member of Families Seeking Justice

#Solmaz_Hassan-Zadeh, the sister of Mohammad Hassan-Zadeh, who lost his life in the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, has been sentenced to one year in prison for “propaganda against the Islamic Republic.”

According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the criminal court of Boukan recently issued this sentence due to her protest activities.

On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, Solmaz and her father, Ahmad Hassan-Zadeh, were arrested during a raid by intelligence forces at their family home, which coincided with her late brother’s birthday.
