#Dictionary Volatility

The higher the price change over a short period of time, the higher the volatility.

#Dictionary Backtest

🔎Analysis of historical price chart data to test and adapt trading strategies, as well as gather statistics.
Gathering statistics is necessary to determine the effectiveness of the chosen trading strategy.

#Dictionary Candles

🔼Bullish candle — a candlestick on a chart indicating an upward price movement.

🔽Bearish candle — a candlestick on a chart indicating a downward price movement.

#Dictionary Price Action (PA)

🕯A method of analyzing price charts using candlestick formations.

📈A candlestick formation is a graphical pattern formed by several candles indicating the current market sentiment.

#Dictionary Liquidity

⚡️The ability to quickly execute a transaction. A large number of users means a large number of buyers and sellers, facilitating the quick purchase or sale of large volumes of an asset.

💵For example, selling a one-bedroom apartment has a higher chance of successful completion because the demand for such apartments is usually higher.

#Dictionary Fiat

💵 Fiat money is cash made of paper with multiple layers of security, issued by the government for use within and outside the country. This type of money also includes virtual currencies stored in a bank account and accessible through a regular plastic card.

🪙 A short name assigned to a project for its identification in financial markets. In cryptocurrency, this is usually the token name.

📈 A request to buy/sell at a specified limit price, which is lower than the current price when buying and higher than the current price when selling. Such orders are displayed in the exchange order book.
