We sold our TV this morning and our house is now TV-free! It’s been sat unplugged in our house since we moved about a month ago, but now it’s finally gone.

Watching TV is like walking into a book shop. It just can’t be enjoyed anymore. Everything is politicised, even the adverts. I’m glad I won’t be subjected to it anymore. Now I can spend more time on my hobbies like reading, gardening, piano and sewing instead.

If I can do it, so can you! 😉

This is sad. Marriage doesn't mean much to many people nowadays. And it's about to become much easier to throw it away. I wonder how this will affect divorce rates.

Harvey Proctor, former Tory MP, says that Robert Maxwell (media tycoon, former MP and Ghislaine Maxwell's father) isn't actually Jewish. He just pretends to be Jewish in order to get ahead.

Whether it's true or not, it's interesting that a Tory would admit that being Jewish would be "in his interests".

The interesting thing about that banner is that it doesn’t even say whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing, yet Twitter liberals and non-Whites are calling the perpetrators racist. Even acknowledging that the British people are a people is racist these days.

^^ the amount of people under Adil's tweet desperate for the person flying the banner to be arrested. Then you get the typical "What is British? We're all mongrels" response. I hate these people

The worst one is the tedious "Who are the British anyway? We came from all over the world.", and then they go on to list a load of NW European groups. That isn't the whole world is it, it's a small part of Europe, and that's who we are as an ethnic group. It's where we came from. Did you think ethnic groups appear by popping out of holes in the ground and saying "Hello! We're the Japanese/Indians/British!"?
