USA. A nonprofit organization was in downtown Dayton and attempting to provide free food and other assistance to the homeless, apparently without a permit.

People were giving out free stuff to homeless people without a permit to do said thing. So police went around and tried to find who was in charge. And i assume they thought the person in charge was the person in the video. He was let go shortly after and not charged with a crime.

Mother of Dexter Reed who was shot and killed by Chicago police during a traffic stop, falls over during a press conference.

Video footage shows police officers firing 96 shots at Reed in less than a minute.

Reed was pulled over during a traffic stop and refused to exit his vehicle.

A gun was recovered from the passenger seat of Reed's vehicle. One officer at the scene claimed Reed shot at them first.

During a press conference, his mother appeared to faint out of sadness.

This woman and her husband were stopped at a light at Montgomery & Bush yesterday morning when a tow truck comes out of nowhere & tries to hook onto their Toyota.

I spoke to Joanne today who says her car is paid off, paid her registration & doesn’t get why her car was targeted.

Specialty Towing didn’t return my call/email for this story. But City Attorney David Chiu did suspend the company this year for illegal towing calling them “unscrupulous”.

Joanne says the tow truck also chased them for several blocks once they were able to escape.

USA. Nicolae Miu testifies that he acted in self-defense when the teenage boys surrounded him and began to block his path and assault him.

Nicolae Miu has been found guilty in his Apple River stabbing trial.

After seven days of testimony and more than 40 witnesses, a jury found Miu, 54, guilty in his trial, which began on April 1.

Miu was initially charged with first-degree intentional homicide and multiple counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

He was convicted of the following charges:
• First-degree reckless homicide of Isaac Schuman
• First-degree recklessly endangering safety of A.J. Martin
• First-degree recklessly endangering safety of Dante Carlson
• First-degree recklessly endangering safety of Tony Carlson
• First-degree recklessly endangering safety of Ryhley Mattison
• Battery of Madison Coen
