Nicholus Murphy, a co-worker at the Wendy's in Murfreesboro, #Tennessee, found the man tied up and “wanted to cry.” Michiko Burton, the manager who tied the employee up, told police it was a TikTok trend, but the family and Murphy dispute that explanation - “If there was a TikTok trend, then where’s the TikTok?”

The regional manager fired Burton, and police are investigating the situation.

🇺🇸 Police flip a suspected pedophile's car after performing a PIT maneuver in New Mexico.

The Santa Fe Police Department was pursuing 47-year-old Gabriel Garcia for child solicitation and sexual exploitation of a child.

The department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit was in contact with Garcia, posing as a child. Garcia traveled all the way from Houston, about a 13-hour drive, and expressed his desire to commit sexual crimes. Garcia was booked on 8 counts of child solicitation by electronic device, sextual exploitation of children by prostitution, and aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer.

🇺🇸 Last night a NYPD officer from Times Square was dragged by a car during a traffic stop. It appears the officer had his gun out during the incident

The NYPD officer was thrown at least 10 feet after the car took off. It's unclear if the cop was injured or if the vehicle was stopped.

🇺🇸 A 36-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed in the neck inside a deli on Grand Avenue in the Morris Heights section of the #Bronx.

Paramedics rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he remains in critical condition as of Saturday morning. Police have one person of interest in custody, while they continue searching for another suspect.

🇺🇸 "Families live here! Kids!" Protesters marched through Roosevelt Ave in Jackson Heights against Brothels and Prostitution - banging on doors, plastering “Shut it down” signs, and confronting a worker they accused of running a brothel.

They moved storefront to storefront toward the 90th St triangle, ringing bells and shouting through a megaphone at women they alleged were sex workers - "No More Brothels in Our community!" organizer shouted, "it's disgusting!" a local joined the group as they marched.
