⭕ بيان صحفي صادر عن المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني

▪️منذ اليوم الأول للعدوان الإسرائيلي المستمر على قطاع غزة تواصل طواقمنا بمختلف تخصصاتها تقديم خدماتنا الإنسانية والإستجابة الفورية والعاجلة رغم المخاطر وقلت الإمكانيات والموارد..

▪️و لم ندخر جهدا طيلة الفترة السابقة في الضغط على كافة الجهات الإقليمية والدولية والمكونات ذات العلاقة من أجل تزويدنا بجزء من احتياجنا من الوقود الذي يدخل إلى الأمم المتحدة في قطاع غزة، وبدورها توزعه على المنظمات الإنسانية هنا؛ لكن للأسف الشديد دائما قوبلت هذه الضغوط والمناشدات بالرفض بزعم أن الاحتلال الاسرائيلي هو الذي يمنع تزويدنا بالوقود.

▪️ إن تسليم وإذعان الأمم المتحدة للتوجهات الإسرائيلية بعدم تزويدنا بالوقود في ظل هذه الظروف العصيبة تسبب في توقف خدامتنا في 7 مراكز إطفاء وإنقاذ من أصل 11 مركزا في المنطقة التى يدعي الاحتلال أنها انسانية ويتوفر بها خدماتنا الإنسانية، وهذا يعتبر مخالفة واضحة لميثاق الأمم المتحدة الذي يدعو إلى دعم أجهزة العمل الإنساني المحلية ودعم المستجيب الأول في أوقات الحروب.

▪️كذلك إن معظم خدماتنا في محافظات شمال القطاع متوقفة عن العمل منذ منتصف شهر نوفمبر المنصرم، لعدم القدرة على تشغيل مركبات الإطفاء والإنقاذ بسبب عدم توفر الوقود لتشغلها.

▪️إننا نستهجن وندين استمرار سلوك الأمم المتحدة باعتبارها المسؤولة عن توفير احتياجاتنا من الوقود، ونحذر أن ذلك أثر فعليا على حياة المواطنين الذين يواجهون أشد مستويات العدوان الإسرائيلي في تاريخنا ومنهم من فقدوا حياتهم، لعدم قدرتنا على الإستجابة لنداءاتهم واستغاثاتهم.

▪️نشدد على أن استمرار الأمم المتحدة في تجاهل احتياجاتنا الإنسانية هو سلوك مخالف لكافة المواثيق الأممية، كذلك نحمل الإحتلال الإسرائيلي المسئولية الكاملة عن تبعات توقف خدماتنا الانسانية والتسبب في زيادة معاناة أبناء شعبنا في ظل كثافة الإستهداف للمنطقة الإنسانية التى يدعي الآحتلال انها آمنه وهي خالية من الإنسانية والأمان.

▪️ومن هنا نجدد مناشداتنا ومطالبتنا للأمم المتحدة ومكتبها لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية بالضغط على سلطات الإحتلال الإسرائيلية من أجل السماح بإدخال الوقود اللازم للدفاع المدني وتشغيل مركباتنا والإستمرار في الإستجابة الإنسانية للمواطنين.

⭕ Press Release Issued by the General Directorate of Civil Defense

▪️ Since the first day of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, our teams across various specialties have continued to provide humanitarian services and immediate responses despite the dangers, limited resources, and lack of supplies.

▪️ Throughout this period, we have not pressured regional and international parties and relevant organizations to provide us with a portion of the fuel supplied to the United Nations in Gaza. The UN, in turn, distributes it to humanitarian organizations here; but unfortunately, these pressures and appeals have always been met with rejection under the pretext that the Israeli occupation prevents fuel supplies from reaching us.

▪️The UN's submission and acquiescence to the Israeli directives by not providing us with fuel under these difficult circumstances has caused our services to stop in 7 out of 11 fire and rescue centres in the area that the occupation claims to be humanitarian and where our humanitarian services are available, which is a clear violation of the UN Charter, which calls for supporting local humanitarian agencies and first responders in times of war.

▪️ Also, most of our services in the northern Gaza Strip governorates have been suspended since mid-November due to the inability to operate fire and rescue vehicles due to the lack of fuel to operate them.

▪️ We condemn and denounce the continued behaviour of the United Nations, which is responsible for providing our fuel needs, and we warn that this has already affected the lives of citizens who are facing the most severe levels of Israeli aggression in our history, including some who have lost their lives, because we are unable to respond to their calls for help.

▪️ We affirm that the UN's continued disregard for our humanitarian needs is a behaviour that violates all UN conventions, and we hold the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the consequences of stopping our humanitarian services and causing more suffering for our people in light of the intensive targeting of the humanitarian zone that the occupation claims to be safe, but it is devoid of humanity and safety.

▪️ We renew our calls and appeals to the United Nations and its Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to allow the entry of the necessary fuel for Civil Defense. This will enable us to operate our vehicles and continue providing humanitarian responses to citizens.

🚨 ننعي استشهاد أحد ضباطنا في شمال غزة

تنعي المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني استشهاد الزميل الضابط/ رائد يوسف سالم "أبو البيض" بعد استهدافه مع مجموعة من المواطنين بطائرة مسيرة إسرائيلية عند مدخل مستشفى كمال عدوان في شمالي قطاع غزة.

قضى الزميل "أبا يوسف" نحبه اليوم بعد أن رفض النزوح من شمال القطاع، وأصر على البقاء في مستشفى كمال عدوان لمساعدة ضباط الإسعاف و الكوادر الطبية في تقديمهم الخدمة للمرضى والجرحى.

وباستشهاده يرتفع عدد شهداء الدفاع المدني خلال هذه الحرب إلى 89 شهيد.

سائلين الله عز وجل أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته ومغفرته وأن يتقبله في عداد الشهداء.

🚨 We mourn the martyrdom of one of our officers in northern Gaza.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense mourns the martyrdom of our colleague, Officer/Raed Yousef Salem "Abu Al-Bayd," after he was targeted with a group of citizens by an Israeli drone at the entrance to Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

Our colleague "Abu Yousef" gave his life today after refusing to evacuate northern Gaza. He insisted on staying at Kamal Adwan Hospital to help the ambulance officers and medical staff in serving the sick and the injured.

With his martyrdom, the number of Civil Defense martyrs during this war rises to 89 martyrs.

We ask ALLAH Almighty to have mercy on him, forgive him, and accept him among the martyrs.
