Diuretics💠


Only in rare cases are diuretics indicated during pregnancy, e.g.

💮pulmonary edema .
💮cardiac insufficiency.

In recent years indications have changed and differ from nonpreg-
nant patients. With a better understanding of the pathophysiology of preeclampsia, diuretics are no longer used to treat hypertension, edema
and, especially, preeclampsia. Diuretics can reduce the plasma volume
resulting in decreased placental perfusion that further compromises fetal support.

💠Sulphasalazine💠

Treatment of acute attack of mild to moderate and severe
ulcerative colitis | Active Crohn’s disease.


SIDE-EFFECTS💠

▶ Common or very common Blood disorders . cough . dizziness . fever. Heinz body anaemia . insomnia . megaloblastic anaemia . proteinuria . pruritus . stomatitis . taste disturbances .tinnitus.

#دواعي_الاستعمال
لعلاج حالات الإسهال الشديدة

الميكانزم:
المادة الاولى تقلل من حركة الأمعاء. المادة الثانية بفعاليتها (Anti-cholinergic) تعمل على تجفيف السوائل في الجسم بالاضافة الى تقليل حركة الأمعاء. وكذلك لتقليل تأثير ال Diphenoxylate النفسي الذي يؤدي الى سوء استعماله (يعني حتى ما يستخدمو للتحشيش) 😁

#الجرعة :
2 حبة عند بداية الاستخدام ثم حبة كل 6 ساعات.
الحد الأقصى في اليوم (10 حبات).
