به دعوت سازمان «نوفدی» به کنگره آمریکا رفتم تا با شماری از قانون‌گذاران آمریکایی در خصوص کمپین #حمایت_حداکثری از مبارزه ملت ایران برای دستیابی به حقوق بشر و دموکراسی دیدار و گفتگو کنم.
در ملاقات‌های سازنده‌ای که با سناتور ریچارد بلومنتال (حزب دموکرات/ایالت کنتیکت)، و کنگرسمن جو ویلسون (حزب جمهوریخواه/ایالت کارولینای جنوبی) داشتم، مفصلا صحبت از آن شد که چگونه یک تغییر دموکراتیک در ایران، می‌تواند برای ژئوپولتیک جهانی و امنیت ملی آمریکا نیز سودمند باشد.
I was pleased to accept NUFDI's invitation and join their team on Capitol Hill as part of their ongoing campaign to bring Iranians’ struggle for human rights and democracy to the forefront in Congress.
I had productive meetings with Senator Richard Blumenthal and Congressman Joe Wilson to discuss how the United States can lead with a policy of #MaximumSupport to the people of Iran and their movement. We also had wide-ranging discussions on the implications of democratic change in Iran for global geopolitics and American national security.

در ملاقات‌های سازنده‌ای که با سناتور ریچارد بلومنتال (حزب دموکرات/ایالت کنتیکت)، و کنگرسمن جو ویلسون (حزب جمهوریخواه/ایالت کارولینای جنوبی) داشتم، مفصلا صحبت از آن شد که چگونه یک تغییر دموکراتیک در ایران، می‌تواند برای ژئوپولتیک جهانی و امنیت ملی آمریکا نیز سودمند باشد.
