Well, this study is interesting. At a much lower IM dose, empty SM-102 and ALC-0315 LNPs both triggered inflammation & rapid neutrophil recruitment. Wang’s high dose may have pushed ALC-0315 across a later necrosis→mtDNA→NETosis threshold. It did not show Moderna is “safe.”
