People are LOSING their minds all over. Like, screaming like demons at minor conflicts. I am hypnotized by police videos in which women scream the same thing over and over and shout ‘arrest me!’ Or even ‘tase me!’ And can barely be subdued. Someone threatened to shoot someone else in the subway where our dinner guest had just traveled. New York used to be all about strangers talking to one another, even ‘mouthing off’, and now it is just too terrifying to interact.
