"Why did you come illegally into Israel?" That was the opening question to Dimitris Plionis after his ship was hijacked in international waters. His response: "You abducted us."

In this second part of his interview, Dimitris recounts the brutal reality after the interception:

Forced Signature: Activists were pressured to sign Hebrew statements declaring they entered Israel "illegally." Dimitris refused, knowing the truth.

Brutality and Blackmail: Activists were moved to Be'er Sheva jail, and later, beaten by police at Ben Gurion Airport.

Justice Denied: The attempt to pursue justice in the International Criminal Court (ICC) was systematically blocked. The prosecutor, who later admitted to being blackmailed by Israel, stopped the judicial action on technicalities.

This historical account is a chilling precedent for what the Global Sumud Flotilla activists are enduring right now. The pattern of piracy and impunity is clear.

The “Israeli” Navy intercepted all but one of the Global Sumud Flotilla vessels, according to Press TV. The ship, Marinette, is continuing is voyage towards Gaza to deliver its humanitarian aid.

In a video published via Quds, Turkish activist Sinan Akılotu declared while aboard the Marinette:

“We have now entered the high-risk zone. By God’s will, we are heading toward one of two noble outcomes.”

42 boats were illegally intercepted.

Their passengers unlawfully abducted.

The world saw what happens when civilians challenge a siege.

And still — Marinette sails on.

She knows the fate of her sisters on the water.

She knows what awaits. And she refuses to turn back.

This isn’t just a ship.
Marinette is sumud — steadfastness in the face of fear, blockade, and brutality.

She is what we are seeing in the streets around the world: people who know the risks, who see the repression, and who stand in solidarity anyway.
No matter what comes next, this refusal has already written a new chapter.

Gaza is not alone. Palestine is not forgotten.

We are not going anywhere.

“Israeli” media: Explosions heard in Jerusalem, apparently due to activities of the “Israeli” army in the Gaza Strip
Palestinian Center for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared:

An armed force of five members kidnapped nurse Tasnim Al-Hams, 24-years-old, from a medical station south of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip and took her to an area under the control of the occupation army in Rafah.

The abduction came about two months after her father, Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, director of field hospitals, was abducted under similar circumstances before it became clear that he was being held in Israeli prisons.

The occupation bears full responsibility for the life of nurse Tasnim and is required to reveal her fate and place of detention and to release her and her father.

The kidnapping of nurse Al-Hams in this manner is a blatant expression of the occupation army's use of undercover forces and armed gangs to carry out kidnappings and then forcibly hide them.

The occupation army bears responsibility for the abduction of a nurse from a medical facility that enjoys protection under international humanitarian law.

We warn against subjecting Nurse Al-Hams to torture and using her as a means of pressure and blackmail to try to extract confessions from her or her father.

We have received numerous reports of new cases of missing persons in Gaza City in areas that have been bombed and where it has been impossible to recover victims from under the rubble, as well as in neighborhoods that have been invaded by Israeli forces.

The international community, humanitarian agencies, and relevant organizations are called upon to shoulder their responsibilities and intervene to secure the release of Dr. Al-Hams and his daughter, ensure their protection, and pay greater attention to the issue of missing persons and those forcibly disappeared in Israeli prisons and detention centers.
📺 Ongoing Negotiations

Hamas Politburo member Mohammed Nazzal to Al-Jazeera:

We received the plan attributed to Trump on Monday evening.

On the second day after receiving the plan, we began internal and external consultations.

We have comments on the US plan and will announce our position on it soon.

As representatives of the resistance, we have the right to express our comments in order to achieve the interests of the Palestinian people.

The end result cannot be the surrender of our people's rights and the continuation of genocide.

We are communicating with mediators and Arab and Islamic parties and are serious about reaching understandings.

We are serious about reaching understandings based on stopping the genocide

We do not deal according to the logic that time is a sword hanging over our necks.

Marinette, the last remaining boat of the Global Sumud Flotilla, was intercepted at 10:29am local time, approximately 42.5 nautical miles from Gaza.
Over 38 hours, Israeli occupation naval forces illegally intercepted all 42 of our vessels—each carrying humanitarian aid, volunteers, and the determination to break Israel’s illegal siege on Gaza.
Marinette sailed forward with the spirit of sumud—steadfastness—even after seeing the fate of 41 boats before her.
But this is not the end of our mission. Our determination to confront Israel’s atrocities and stand with the Palestinian people remains unshaken.
As people rise up in cities worldwide to demand an end to these horrors and to take a stand for humanity, we rise together with one voice:
We will not stop until the genocide ends. We will not stop until Palestine is free.
