So I have this dog that I never wanted. I’ve “inherited’ him and I just love him.

I have empathy for the beast so I take time to walk him and try giving him some of the unbelievable amount of attention he seems to need for no understandable reason.

Today he attacked someone else’s dog. I was embarrassed so I apologised but as I was carrying my dog away, the owner of the other dog decided my apologies were a good opportunity to insult me.

I cant even recall what he said but he swore and mouthed off at me.

I stood there with my dog in my arms looking at this guy. He was a normal looking dude in his 40s maybe and walking some stupid husky looking thing. He was still swearing at me.

Oh wow, I thought. This guy wants to die. What other way could I interpret his response? We are two fighting-age men, I’m clearly in no mood to fuck around yet while I’m apologising in good faith, he insults me.

I put my dog down and my impulses compelled me towards him.

But as I stepped forwards he stepped back. He was still swearing at me. I stepped forward again, he moved further away.

I was angry but now I’m confused. I turned to leave but as soon as I did his shouting grew louder. I turned to face him again, he fell silent.

I was stunned. When did grown men become Mario ghosts? I’ve seen plenty of city-Leftists act like that but apparently it’s worked its way into suburban life now.

Puppers and I went home and writing this helped me get over it.

One Nation and the online t-shirt brigade have begun trying to reform the fake conservative faction which initially died with the Coalition.

Their motivation is their personal income streams and this is why the Right keeps losing. They don’t understand the team effort and the role of their own radicals, which is to move more freely, take the brunt of the flak and shift the Overton window further to the Right.

Instead they attack their own radicals or do nothing to defend them, because they’re too selfish or mentally lazy to understand the game.

If Australia’s political landscape was a chessboard, the Right just got banned from having or using a queen and they didn’t even argue against it.

Instead, they’re acting grateful they can still sit at the table, even though they’ve been handicapped almost beyond the possibility of winning.

This is very important to understand:

Hanson didn’t suddenly become popular enough to be the next Prime Minister because of anything she did.

She was only the political beneficiary of years of work by the Right’s radicals, who are now outlawed pending a High Court appeal they’ve had to fund and organise on their own.

But if One Nation and its enthusiasts fail to appreciate the vital role of radicals and factional unity, they’ll naturally just exploit the circumstances to make some money, while the radicals who did all the work to manifest this opportunity get exiled and executed by the state.

It’ll be a miserable ordeal to watch this rare chance for the Right to actually win be squandered due to nothing but human arrogance and stupidity.

If One Nation wants real power to actually build a future for real Aussies, they’ll support free speech, get the Right’s radicals back on the board and stop immigration regardless of what lobbyists want.

If they don’t have the strength or the sense to do that, they’ll just take the place of the Coalition and get absorbed into the presiding uni-party. There’s no middle ground here.
