* dynamic filesync has been switched for @franciscofranco's filesync solution
* IOSCHED_SWITCHER has been enabled - by @sultanxda - This enables a driver that switches the I/O scheduler for a single block device to Noop when the screen turns off, and back to its original I/O scheduler after a delay when the screen is turned back on

Velvet uses AnyKernel, if you have flashed Magisk or SuperSU before kernel it should not stop working after flashing kernel. Any root related bugs could be rom issue and is no way related to Velvet.
