It’s a very clever idea & I think genuinely important.

It’s not pro or anti anything, but simply states “I’m choosing to be part of the control group” (better to ensure pros & cons are properly captured).

I did my bit (a small quarterly subscription, far less than I used to spend on a U.K. TV license!) & was amazed that one of the cofounders, Dez, came over & hand delivered my laminated control pass.

Later the same day, my wife, one daughter & possibly my sister all registered.

At very least, it gives those who actively do not want to receive a covid19 vaccine a group to be part of (I believe they have a channel here?) and will lead to some conversations that might otherwise not have begun.

In a televised address on Monday, Macron announced that coronavirus vaccinations will be mandatory for healthcare workers in France, and a “health pass” proving vaccination status, or a negative test for Covid-19, will be necessary to board a train or visit restaurants, theaters, bars and cinemas from August. All French people over 12 years old will need a pass....

Covid vaccinations for the general population will not be mandatory in the near future, but Macron did not take the option off the table. If inoculation rates do not pick up, the president warned that he will “ask the question of compulsory vaccination for all French people.”

Additionally, while a negative PCR test will be sufficient for obtaining a “health pass,” Macron said that the government will no longer hand out free Covid tests from autumn onwards.

This report is exactly why Governments won't touch vaccine passports with a barge pole and instead are passing the buck to businesses leaving them open to being sued.
Businesses must treat everyone the same regardless of vaccination status. Anything else is almost like medical apartheid.

The BS continues in Spain with reintroduced lockdowns and restrictions, this time targeting fear campaign on the young to boost jab numbers. Meanwhile this is how much the government cares about health here, with country's nursing union denouncing the following: "Nursing Union, SATSE, has denounced that this summer more than 9,600 beds will be closed, 2,700 more than last year, and thousands of consultations, diagnostic tests and surgical interventions will be paralyzed in the hospitals of our country"
