TFL #London are continuing to deceive customers into believing they MUST wear face coverings which is a lie - NOBODY has to use them on ANY form of public transport.
Buses continue to display “Wear a face covering” signage upon boarding - this is an instruction, which is of course wrong and doesn’t state it is optional.
ACTION -
- email TFL on customerservices@tfl.gov.uk or using their web form https://tfl.gov.uk/help-and-contact/contact-us-about-buses - if you’re not satisfied with the response, escalate the complaint to London Travel Watch who will take up the case on your behalf. https://www.londontravelwatch.org.uk/
- call TFL 14103432221234 option 3 then press STAR twice when promoted to speak to a human (as if you’re an “older/disabled” person. (141 blocks your number)
Post negative twitter comments (replying to THEIR comments is far more effective than sending your own one first!) Do both accounts if you can (cut/paste the same message) and CC in @LonTravelWatch into the tweet. Then REtweet your OWN comment!
