WHAT'S THE ISSUE?
Five-year-old girl dies after waiting more than 30 hours for treatment at Canberra's main hospital, the Canberra Hospital.

The death of 5 year young Rozalia Spadafora from myocarditis on 5th July 2022, nearly 38 hours after arriving at Canberra Hospital in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), EXPOSES a public healthcare system devastated by decades of funding cuts and privatisation, exacerbated by the fraudulent coronavirus scam-demic and a severe winter common cold and flu (influenza) wave.

Her family are demanding answers. In an interview with the 9News network’s “A Current Affair” broadcast on 12th August 2022, they described a dysfunctional and inadequately staffed hospital, with few beds and resources available for patients.

In the days before her death, Rozalia was taken by her mother, Katrina, to her General Practitioner (GP) with flu-like symptoms, where she was prescribed steroids.

However, by 4th July, the morning of her fifth birthday, Rozalia’s symptoms had worsened and she could not even walk from her bedroom to open her presents.

The grounds for appeal which are now being drawn up will focus only on the strongest points of contention anticipated to succeed. Further, our sights are fixed towards the Australian High Court if relief is not found in the WA Court of Appeal.
