Sheikh Othman
Early morning in Mansura, a suburb of Sheikh Othman, after a bomb had exploded the previous evening inside Abdul Macawi's house killing members of his family and his household.
Abdul Macawi was the Head of FLOSY. The crowd, outside Macawai's damaged house, is harranged by agitators and an ugly mood becomes increasingly evident. . These photos were taken from the Mansura Picket where Pte Lanighan, Pte Seymour, Pte McCormack, and myself were tasked with observing and reporting the reactions of FLOSY supporters once they'd heard about the bomb. We had taken up position at about 04.00 hrs as we expected trouble shortly after dawn.

I never cease to be amazed by the enormity of this giant of a volcano with Crater stuck in the middle.
The way the natural bay curves away on the right appears some what artificial.
