Why Do We Call The People's Reset an "Activation"?

People's Reset Family,

Derrick Broze here.

Some of you may remember that when we first launched "The People's Reset" it was known as The Greater Reset Activation.

As you know, the name "Greater Reset" was chosen as a response to the WEF and their "Great Reset" initiative announced in June 2020.

What you might not know is why we chose to call the event an "Activation"!

Well, when John Bush and I were brainstorming on the idea that would later evolve to become The People's Reset, we were trying to think of how to describe what we wanted to create.

It was more than just a conference where people talk to the crowd.

It was part festival, with music, art, and workshops.

It was also a spiritual experience with ceremonies, time for community connection, and a heavy focus on healing.

Ultimately, I felt that the word that best described our goals was "Activation".

In fact, I just looked back at my messages with John from 2020 and I wrote, "we are trying to activate people and get them to manifest the better world we know is possible".

For me, calling TPR an "Activation" is a deliberate choice because this is not another gathering where you ONLY party and go home with no new tools. It's more than a conference, or a festival, but has elements of both.

Most importantly, it is a participatory event where you are encouraged to host a workshop, or a potluck, or any other side event you can dream up.

So, if you are sick of just hearing about the problems on podcast after podcast, or endless doom scrolling, AND ready to connect with 100's of solutionaries who are ready to focus on what WE CAN DO - The People's Reset 2027 is the place for you!
