PlayEngine announced that Dr. Laila Mintas joins the team as the Co-Founder and CEO.
PlayEngine was co-founded by Rafayel Mkrtchyan and Aram Cherkezyan. The startup develops a disruptive and innovative B2B sports betting and iGaming platform. The platform architecture is microservices-based which makes it highly agile and allows PlayEngine to provide its customers with a tailor-made, individual solution that is reliable, scalable, fast, and secure.
Dr. Mintas is a veteran in the sports betting industry. She has previously led Sportradar’s US business (valued at $2.4 BLN during her tenure), was Chairwoman of Betworks Advisory Board (sold at $125 MLN after 14+ months), and CEO of PlayUp US (valued at $450 MLN during her tenure).
