Emerald founded by Alexander Badalyan closes $2M pre-seed to blend blood testing, AI, and medical care

Emerald is a UK based startup building a platform that brings fragmented health data - wearables, lab results, medical records - into one place, and connects it with AI insights and dedicated GP care.

The round was led by Boost Capital Partners, with participation from Mark Fountain (ex-HBS UK, sold to AXA), Armenian VC fund Granatus Ventures, and angel investors including Premier League players.

Founded in 2024 by Alexander Badalyan, Emerald’s goal is to shift healthcare from reactive to proactive, combining AI scalability with real clinical oversight.

Emerald's user base more than tripled in 6 months, they processed 25,000+ tests and are getting ready for UK expansion.
