Judge Merchan denies defense motion for a mistrial
Merchan has denied the motion for a mistrial that was brought by Trump's defense team.
โAs a threshold matter, Mr. Blanche, I agree that there were things that would have been better left unsaid," the judge said. โI think the witness was a little difficult to control.โ
โI donโt believe weโre at the point where a mistrial is warranted," he added. โIโm also surprised that there were not more objections."
Trump legal team is laying groundwork to try to discredit trial
In asking for a mistrial, Trump defense attorney Todd Blanche laid the groundwork for Trump and his team to try to discredit the trial later, arguing the jury has now been prejudiced and that a fair trial is no longer possible.

Next comes briefing by the parties, to be followed by oral argument sometime this summer
It will be heard by a 3 judge panel so 2 votes will be needed to reverse the trial court
Whatever the Court of Appeals rules can be appealed by the losing party
The Fulton Case is effective dead in the water for a while

During the hearing, it was revealed there are 380,761 ballot images from machine count that are not available from Election Day!!!

Fulton County is refusing to comply with our subpoena.

Federal prosecutors in first son Hunter Bidenโs California tax fraud case have accused him of pulling โa stunt to delay his trialโ by making a frivolous appeal, new court papers show.
President Bidenโs surviving son, 54, is attempting to appeal his lost bid to toss the case accusing him of failing to pay at least $1.4 million in federal income taxes for the years 2016 through 2019.
Prosecutors in special counsel David Weissโ office said in papers filed in Los Angeles federal court Tuesday that the first son improperly filed the notice of appeal as a โstuntโ in order to push back his June 20 trial date.
The younger Biden has โdecided, unilaterally, that he can ignore the schedule set by the court,โ the feds charge.

"The material that came in was not relevant to this criminal case at all. I think it shows she was trying to get Trump. I actually thought there was a motive there. She said she 'hates him'. She said she'd 'like to see him in prison'. I think she was purposely throwing out this stuff to make sure the jury/jurors were prejudice. Particularly the women jurors, but probably half of the men too. Really put off."
