Iran International has released a video showing an armored personnel carrier (APC) belonging to the Islamic Republic’s riot control forces deliberately driving over a crowd of protesters during demonstrations in Ardabil. The Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC) conducted a geolocation analysis and identified the location of the incident as Yahyavi Square in Ardabil.
Through frame-by-frame analysis and cross-referencing visual markers—including the river alignment, bridge, square layout, a roadside billboard, and nighttime lighting patterns—the location of the video has been independently verified.
According to Iran International, the incident occurred on January 8 or January 9, 2026, and resulted in the killing of at least one woman and the injury of three others.

شبکه ایران اینترنشنال ویدیویی منتشر کرده است که نشان میدهد یک خودروی زرهی نفربر نیروهای ضدشورش جمهوری اسلامی در جریان اعتراضات در اردبیل عامدانه از روی جمعیت معترضان عبور میکند. مرکز اسناد حقوق بشر ایران با انجام فرآیند جانمایی، محل وقوع این رویداد را میدان یحیوی اردبیل شناسایی کرده است.
با تحلیل فریمبهفریم ویدیو و تطبیق نشانههایی از جمله جانمایی رودخانه، پل، میدان، بیلبورد تبلیغاتی و نورپردازی شبانه منطقه، محل ضبط این ویدیو تأیید شده است. به گزارش ایران اینترنشنال، زمان وقوع این رویداد به ۱۸ یا ۱۹ دیماه بازمیگردد و این اقدام به کشتهشدن دستکم یک زن و مجروحشدن سه نفر دیگر منجر شده است.

According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC), the trial of three Baha’i women—Shideh Tavakoli, Sheila Tavakoli, and Sheida Rouhani—Scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The three individuals face charges of membership in groups formed with the intent to undermine national security (Article 499), engaging in propaganda activities related to the Baha’i faith (Article 500 bis), and propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran (Article 500).
The three women were arrested on May 27, 2025, following violent raids by security forces on their homes, carried out without the presentation of a judicial warrant. During the operation, security agents conducted thorough searches of the residences and confiscated personal belongings, including books related to the Baha’i faith, mobile phones, computers, tablets, gold, and foreign currency. In one of the homes, property deeds for a house and a vehicle were also seized.

بر اساس گزارش رسیده به مرکز اسناد حقوق بشر ایران، دادگاه سه زن بهایی به نامهای شیده توکلی، شیلا توکلی و شیدا روحانی روز شنبه ۱۸ بهمن ۱۴۰۴ برگزار خواهد شد. این سه شهروند با اتهامهای عضویت در گروههای برهمزننده امنیت کشور (ماده ۴۹۹)، فعالیت تبلیغی مرتبط با آیین بهایی (ماده ۵۰۰ مکرر) و تبلیغ علیه نظام جمهوری اسلامی ایران (ماده ۵۰۰) روبهرو هستند.
این سه شهروند روز ششم خرداد ۱۴۰۴ در پی یورش خشونتآمیز مأموران امنیتی به منازلشان، بدون ارائه حکم قضایی بازداشت شدند. در جریان این عملیات، مأموران اقدام به تفتیش کامل منازل کرده و شماری از وسایل شخصی از جمله کتابهای مرتبط با آیین بهایی، تلفنهای همراه، رایانه، تبلت، طلا و ارز را توقیف کردند. همچنین در یکی از منازل، اسناد مالکیت خانه و خودرو نیز ضبط شده است.
