Reports indicate that Kokab Badaghi, a labor activist, has gone missing after appearing at the Ministry of Intelligence office in Izeh, Khuzestan Province. She was reportedly summoned to provide explanations regarding the charge of “disseminating propaganda against the government.”
According to her family, in the early hours of the morning on January 26, 2026, individuals identifying themselves as affiliated with the IRGC Intelligence Organization entered the family home by climbing over a wall, without presenting identification. They confiscated a mobile phone, a laptop, her birth certificate, and other personal belongings and documents.
Following this incident, Kokab Badaghi was instructed to report to the Ministry of Intelligence office at 8:00 a.m. the same day to follow up on her case. She had previously been summoned to this office on multiple occasions. However, after her most recent appearance, she did not return home. Her physical condition, the charges against her, and her place of detention remain unknown to date.
