According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Ali Salehpour, a 19-year-old resident of Fuladshahr in Isfahan Province, was struck by live ammunition near the city’s courthouse on January 8, 2026, and lost his life.
The report states that the bullet struck his thigh; however, security forces present at the scene prevented immediate medical assistance and blocked his transfer for treatment, leaving him in critical condition until he died.
His body was returned to his family after approximately one week, and, according to reports, his burial took place under security pressure and restrictions.
Due to restrictions on access to information and the prevailing security conditions imposed on the families of killed citizens, independent verification of all details of these reports is currently not possible.
