Branch 36 of Tehran Appeals Court has upheld the ten-year prison sentence of Mahvash Shahriari and Fariba kamalabadi, two former leaders of the Iranian Baha'i community who were previously imprisoned for ten years.
In addition to the ten-year prison sentence, Sabet and Kamalabadi have been prohibited from leaving Iran, residing in Tehran, and any social activism for two years. Their personal items such as cell phones and computers have also been confiscated as part of their sentence.
