Milad Naseri and Akam Amini, residents of Kani Rush village in Bukan, West Azarbaijan Province, were apprehended by security forces without a court order. Mr. Naseri was arrested on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, and subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location; as of now, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or any charges against him.
On Wednesday, October 24, Mr. Amini’s family residence was also searched without a warrant, during which his cell phone was seized. On the following day, Mr. Amini was summoned by a phone call from the Bukan Ministry of Intelligence office and was subsequently arrested.
