Barzin Hamzezadeh, 15, was arrested in November 2022 during the Women, Life, Freedom protests. According to a report by Hengaw, he died thirteen months after his release due to the torture he had endured during his detention. His internal organs, including both his kidneys, were severely damaged as a result of severe beatings, and he was hospitalized in Khomein Hospital in Oroumieh due to these health problems. He died during surgery on January 2, 2024.
