Reports indicate that in recent days two nurses have been arrested in connection with the nurses' protests. Zahra Tamaddon, the head of ward 10 of Masih Deneshvari Hospital in Tehran, has been arrested for participating in nurses' protests. Another nurse, Firouze Mojrian Shargh, who is working at Ghaem Hospital of Mashhad, was arrested on August 20. According to her colleagues, she has been hospitalized after being beaten by the authorities.
