According to HRANA, on February 12, 2024, Mahdokht Damghanpur, an attorney representing Mohammad Ghobadlou, was summoned to the Culture and Media Prosecutor's Office.
Amir Raisian, another lawyer of Mohammad Ghobadlou, wrote: "We invited the judiciary to a ‘debate in the media’ regarding the implementation of Mohammad Ghobadlou’s qisas sentence, but the judiciary preferred a ‘trial in the Media Court.’ Today, my colleague Ms. Mahdokht Damghanpur was summoned and presented the relevant documents. She was summoned because of an interview in which she criticized the trial process of her client's and the implementation of his death sentence.”
Mohammad Ghobadlou, a twenty-three-year-old man arrested during nationwide protests of 2022, was executed in Ghezel Hesar prison, Alborz Province, on January 23, 2024.
