Mohammad Habibi, a teacher and a labor activist who was previously imprisoned for his activism, announced on X that he has been sentenced to six months and one day in prison for protesting the serial poisoning of students. In his post he stated that defending the rights of students is one of the main duties of every teachers’ rights activist. Mr. Habibi was previously arrested and imprisoned in March 2018, May 2018 and April 2022.
