Mohammad Yousefi, a seventeen-year-old boy from Javanrud, Kermanshah province, was arrested on February 7 after celebrating Iran’s loss to Qatar at the semifinals of the Asian Cup, the continent’s quadrennial international soccer competition. According to a report by Hengaw several other boys have also been arrested. No information about their whereabouts have been released, and the identities of the other arrested teenagers are not yet known.
