On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, three Baha'i citizens — Sheida Rohani, Shideh Tavakkoli, and Shila Tavakkoli — were arrested at their home in Tehran by security forces. According to HRANA, during the raid on Mrs. Rohani’s residence, authorities confiscated items including laptops, cell phones, tablets, property and vehicle ownership documents, educational records, books and images related to the Baha'i faith, as well as gold and US dollars. The agents then told Mrs. Rohani she needed to accompany them to speak with an investigator and took her away.
