On Monday night, a Sudanese immigrant allegedly attacked a man on the streets of Belfast in an attempt to decapitate him.
Bystanders intervened, as the story goes, the attack was stopped and the victim – named as one Stephen Ogilvie – survived having suffered severe injuries, including the loss of his left eye. He’s reportedly in a medically induced coma.

There are 24 large hyperscale data centers and 379 smaller ones across the seven Colorado River Basin states, plus a high-profile $10 billion data-center proposal on land sold by the town of Page, Arizona, directly adjacent to Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell.
While agriculture, cities, and long-term drought remain drivers of the basin’s chronic water deficit, data centers' electricity- and water-intensive infrastructures are arguably causing the most strain in an already overstretched region.
