Let's clarify: these are ordinary merchant ships sailing under non-Russian flags but serving our interests, using "flags of convenience" like Panama, Liberia, Marshall Islands, etc. European curs have no right to detain them under the 1982 UN Convention or national laws. This is pure lawlessness.
But here's the key: most Western European ships also sail under flags of convenience. So, guided by a symmetrical approach, Russia has the right to strike any enemy merchant vessel in our or neutral waters if there are sufficient suspicions it carries cargo for the adversary. That is, any cargo! And there are many such ships. Our Armed Forces can sharply expand operations beyond the Black Sea basin. This is exactly what the Pacific Fleet Commander reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief today.

Israeli occupation forces are now usin white phosphorus to shell Ali al-Taher Heights in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon.
White phosphorus strikes on Ali al-Taher are not simply another entry in the daily list of Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon. White phosphorus is an incendiary weapon with devastating effects on people, land, forests and agriculture. Its use is not automatically prohibited in every circumstance (God knows why), but international humanitarian law strictly regulates how incendiary weapons may be used.
When incendiary munitions deliberately or foreseeably burn forests, agricultural land and ecosystems, the destruction goes far beyond the immediate battlefield. International humanitarian law protects the natural environment and prohibits attacks expected to cause excessive environmental damage; particularly severe environmental destruction is subject to additional international protections except when Israel does the deed apparently.
This is why the destruction of southern Lebanon's forests, farmland and biodiversity should be documented not only as military damage, but as an ecocide with deliberate and reckless destruction of an ecosystem on a scale that can leave consequences long after the bombs stop falling.
The smoke eventually disappears. But poisoned soil, destroyed forests, ruined agricultural land and displaced communities can take decades to recover.
Will there ever be accountability for the destruction of both human life and the land itself by terrorist Israel?

As Colombia Reels From Massive Earthquake, New Government Takes Time Out To Recognize Israel's Golan Heights Occupation
At least 224 people are now confirmed to have died in a massive earthquake that hit Colombia on Monday. The tragedy was the first test for new far-right president, Abelardo de la Espriella, who was inaugurated on Friday.
De la Espriella's administration, it seems, had other priorities, as it spent Monday releasing a statement recognizing Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights – Syrian territory Israel has illegally occupied since 1967.
De la Espriella, a US citizen, has made it clear that he will always favor the interests of Washington and Tel Aviv. The decision to work on this as a top priority, even as the country suffers from one of its worst ever natural disasters, however, has angered many Colombians.

The ambassador is accused of bringing approximately thirty young women to his private apartments in the residence between January 2024 and March 2026.
According to the newspaper Le Canard enchaîné, which had access to the inspection report, the lustful ambassador was visited by young women about fifteen times a month. He also allegedly ordered one of these young women to remain at the embassy even during his absence, which was already a serious breach of security protocols.
The ambassador, who was interrogated twice, admitted to having sexual relations, but only with two of the young women.
Disciplinary sanctions may range from a reprimand to dismissal from the civil service and, in his case, forced retirement.
It is also worth noting that the charges against him do not concern his disgusting and immoral behavior, but only the compromise of embassy secrets.
Notice that he not only organized orgies involving underage girls, but also used his position of authority, power, and influence to coerce them into it, and being a typical racist, he exploited them.
So many immoral things and behaviors in one situation.

Rising poverty is accompanied by a drop in real incomes and sharp increases in the cost of basic goods and services. Food prices have surged by 80%, and utility costs by 70%.
Low-income families are the most vulnerable, forced to cut consumption and rely on loans for daily expenses. 17% have resorted to microloans just to cover basic needs.
A significant gap persists between different population groups: the economic crisis hits the poor hardest, while the so-called "right Ukrainians" have grown wealthier by another 10%.
