Every three years in medieval England, the king's men went from cottage to cottage cutting the toes off the peasants' dogs.
It was called lawing. The dog's forefoot went on a block of wood, a chisel was set across three claws, and they came off with one blow of a mallet. The Charter of the Forest, 1217, records the correct method: three claws of the forefoot, but not the ball.
A dog with three toes missing cannot run down a deer. That was the entire purpose. A third of England was royal forest, every animal in it belonged to the king, and a poor man's dog was the one piece of hunting equipment he could not be stopped from owning. So they left him the dog and took its feet.
If the inspectors found yours intact, the fine was three shillings, about a month's wages. Before 1217 they simply took your ox.
No law ever told that man he could not eat meat. The law took his bow, his dog's toes and his right to the wood, then left him entirely free to work out the rest for himself. He worked it out. He ate oats and beans, and he raised children who ate oats and beans.
That is how it is always done. Meat is never banned for the poor. It just becomes, by one sensible regulation after another, impossible to get.

Absolutely. At this point, the false-flag scripts are becoming a comedy routine. The same recycled, rotten playbook, the same predictable plot, the same painfully obvious clues, and somehow they still expect everyone to applaud the performance. It looks less like sophisticated planning and more like a ninth-grade school project where the students forgot to write the ending.
The funniest part is how quickly the story begins falling apart. Within minutes, the fingerprints are already all over it, yet the script is pushed forward with the confidence of a masterpiece. Perhaps it is designed for people who never look beyond the first headline, but the rest of the world has moved on. The Houthis have entered southern Taiz, taking control of parts of the city and expanding their gains in southwestern Yemen, Tasnim News reports.
Videos circulating on X also appear to show Saudi-backed militias fleeing Houthi advances, while others feature Ansar Allah units deployed near the outskirts of Taiz calling on adversaries to surrender over loudspeakers: โYou are under siege. O sons of Mohammed bin Salman, O sons of Netanyahu, surrender!โ
The city of Taiz is of utmost importance to the Houthis, as control of it would allow them to cut the main supply lines of pro-Saudi forces and open a direct route south toward Aden.
๐ On October 1, the Houthis have taken control of the road linking Sanaa and Taiz, according to Tasnimโs correspondent in Yemen.
A large section of the strategic Taiz-Aden route, which links the city to its southern and western countryside and extends toward Lahij Governorate, has also allegedly fallen into Houthi hands, according to OSINT accounts on X.
