Sunnis Executed by HTS for Sheltering Alawites : During the brutal massacres carried out by #HTS militants—loyal to the sectarian leader Al-#Julani—on the Syrian coast, not only were #Alawite and #Christian #civilians targeted, but #Sunni families who sheltered #Alawites were also slaughtered.
The new constitution declares that Islamic jurisprudence, meaning Sharia, is the primary, and effectively the sole, source of legislation, which implies that Syria is being transformed into an Islamic state similar to Iran or Saudi Arabia.
A growing wave of Syrian refugees is entering Lebanon, with over 10,000 people having arrived so far, many fleeing daily due to ongoing violence and instability along the Syrian coast ( video)
