🇵🇸 Israeli army, intel chiefs give 'final tactical approval' for total invasion of Gaza | The Cradle
Israeli army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and outgoing Shin Bet head Ronen Bar gave final tactical approval on 6 May for plans to significantly expand operations in the Gaza Strip.
“This means that the IOF Southern Commanders, generals, and brigade commanders within the IOF and the Shin Bet already have practical ‘marching’ orders for where to maneuver and with which forces,” the Jerusalem Post reports, highlighting that Tel Aviv must now wait for “the full necessary #IOF reservists to arrive and be ready for action.”
Zamir and Bar's approval came one day after the Israeli security cabinet unanimously green-lighted plans for the “conquest” of Gaza and promotion of the “voluntary migration” of its population.
