Geneva - Israel has turned the “safe corridor” it announced a few days ago into a trap where displaced individuals and families are killed or arrested and abused, said Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.
According to Euro-Med Monitor, the Israeli army’s claim of a safe passage for the displaced is part of the military tactics that it uses to attack Palestinian civilians. Israel’s army, which has been forcing residents of Gaza City and the Gaza Strip’s northern areas to move to the south of the Strip, has designated a “corridor” along Salah al-Din Road—the city’s main thoroughfare—between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day for the time being

In an interview with Channel 12 news, Israeli Minister of Agriculture and former Shin Bet chief Avi Dichter described the current displacement and persecution of Palestinians in Gaza as “the Nakba of Gaza 2023”. Dichter has been calling for over a decade to re-occupy Gaza.
The Nakba, or “catastrophe” as it’s known in English, refers to the ethnic cleansing of some 750,000 Palestinians from their lands and homes in historic Palestine to make way for the creation of Israel in 1948

On 10 November, we woke up and found Israeli tanks right under our window. My family had been taking shelter at the Rantisi children’s hospital for a few days.
What happened before and after we woke up that day demonstrates how Israel lies as a matter of routine.
Contrary to its claims, Israel deliberately causes destruction and damage. Its systematic attacks have been designed to make the functioning of Gaza’s health system impossible.
We have been displaced since 19 October.

With mattresses tied to the roof of their car, Aya Fehmi and her family returned to their first house of refuge in the central Gaza Strip.
They had evacuated it for another place of refuge in the south during the fourth week of Israel's ferocious assault on the Gaza Strip. But, following the end of the pause in fighting on Friday, the Israeli military dropped leaflets in the area of this second refuge, warning people it was to become a "fighting zone" and ordering them to leave.
"We left our home on the sixth day of the attack after we received messages [from the Israeli military] saying that our neighbourhoods would be targeted. We moved to a relative's home in Deir al-Balah and stayed there for three weeks," Fehmi, a 34-year-old mother of three boys, told Middle East Eye.
