Over the past 16 months, Israeli settlers and the military have taken advantage of the atmosphere of the war to reshape reality in #MasaferYatta in favor of #settlers and their outposts, intensifying their efforts to displace us from our land. Even as I write this, the Israeli army is conducting a major demolition operation in the community of Khalet A-Daba, razing homes, toilets, solar panels, and trees.

🇵🇸 IOF's destructive raid of #Jenin refugee camp in the occupied #WestBank has forced 40,000 Palestinians to flee, many with nowhere to go.
With tanks stationed at the camp's outskirts and Israeli troops ordered to remain there for a year by the country's Defence Minister, Palestinians have been forbidden from returning to what remains of their homes. Instead, as Barghouti reports, they have attempted to sneak in to gather what is left of their belongings, as much of the camp is now off limits.
The raids are part of Israel's Operation "#IronWall", a series of military assaults on cities across the occupied West Bank that first began during the Gaza ceasefire.

Unbeknownst to them, Israeli forces had planted a bomb at their front door — an explosive device that would soon take the life of 21-year-old Rahaf al-Ashqar, one of over 70 Palestinians killed during Israel’s ongoing assault on the northern #WestBank.
Her father, Fuad al-Ashqar, recalled to Mondoweiss that he and Rahaf were sitting in the living room when she told him to look out the window. “There are wires on the pillars of the house. What are those wires?” Rahaf had said.
Before he could respond, she sprang from the couch in a panic, running towards the door, shouting, “Baba, they want to blow up the house!”
