An oldie but a goldie that may become quite pertinent if this current Iranian conflict continues for a long period of time.
I've seen many posts on social media about how some people believe they are largely unaffected because they own an electric vehicle. However one must bear in mind a lack of diesel in particular affects everyone from the food delivered to the supermarket, public transport, through to the deliveries to the power stations. Not to mention the inflation that increasing energy costs permeate throughout all of society from the coffee you buy, to wage inflation to cover the coffee "growth". A vicious self reinforcing cycle. Especially so when a lot of the western world is currently experiencing a level of stagflation.
Shit could go bad pretty quick if this continues for months.
Trump doesn't seem too worried, although I bet there are quite a few people currently holding his feet to the fire over this monumental fuck up.

This Is What Evil Looks Like | Truthstream Media
We are often reminded we live in a post-truth world, but there are some things that are still inherently true regardless. Like the fact that evil is real. Evil absolutely exists. And this video shows you exactly what it looks like. People have to stop pretending they can't see it when it's blithely tap dancing in their faces. This isn't going away. In fact, it's only getting more blatant by the day...

⭕️ Iran strikes cut 17% of QatarEnergy LNG capacity, CEO says
Iranian strikes have disabled about 17% of Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) export capacity, leading to an estimated $20 billion, QatarEnergy’s CEO told Reuters on Thursday.
Saad al-Kaabi said the attacks damaged two of Qatar’s 14 LNG production trains and one of its two gas-to-liquids facilities. He added that repairs will take 3 to 5 years, sidelining around 12.8 million tons of LNG production per year during that period.
"I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that Qatar would be - Qatar and the region - in such an attack, especially from a brotherly Muslim country in the month of Ramadan, attacking us in this way," said Kaabi, who also serves as Qatar’s minister of state for energy affairs.
Kaabi said QatarEnergy will need to declare force majeure on long-term LNG supply contracts for up to 5 years, affecting shipments to countries including Italy, Belgium, South Korea, and China.

Iran shoots down US F-35 jet
Iranian media has shared footage showing IRGC air defenses striking a US F35 fighter jet over Iran.
Incident occurred at 2:50 AM local time
Jet was "seriously damaged" in the strike
Fate of the aircraft unknown, a crash is likely, Iranian sources say
The interesting point here is that the F-35, despite being equipped with various sensors and missile approach warning systems, does not show any reaction such as flares or sharp maneuvers to evade the interceptor missile.
The myth of stealth is officially over.

The New Oil Order
Why Heavy Sour Crude Just Became the World’s Most Valuable Barrel–And Who's Winning WW3?
By: Gregor Jankovič
For decades, the oil market hierarchy was simple:
Light sweet crude – oil that flows easily and has low sulfur content, making it cheaper and easier to refine into gasoline and diesel – was the premium product. It’s easy to refine, high in gasoline, and priced accordingly.
Heavy sour crude – thick, high-sulfur oil that requires complex refineries to process – was the discount barrel, the ugly duckling that requires expensive, complex refineries to unlock its value. It traded at a permanent discount to light crude, sometimes $15–20 cheaper. Refiners who could process it made money on the profit margin between buying discounted crude and selling refined products.
That hierarchy is now history – most likely permanently...

🇺🇸⚡️During a tense Senate hearing, Sen. Jon Ossoff pressed U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard over Washington’s justification for the war:
Ossoff: “According to intelligence, Iran’s program was obliterated and they’re not rebuilding. Was there really an imminent nuclear threat?”
Gabbard: “It’s not my job to decide what counts as an imminent threat. Only the President gets to decide that. The intelligence community does not determine imminent threats. That’s the President’s call.”
Ossoff: “You’re evading a question because providing a candid response would contradict the White House.”
