The disappearance of a single hegemon does not make shared stewardship less necessary. It makes it more so."

The deadline of 2027, practically unattainable for legal reasons and ratification considerations alone, was decisively rejected by #EU capitals. However, the peace negotiations mediated by the #US plunged European Commission officials into panic. They hastily came up with the idea of “reverse enlargement”. But there is neither agreement nor even a detailed discussion on how to accelerate the accession process.’
