π RuView

See through walls with WiFi
Turn ordinary #WiFi into a spatial intelligence / sensing system. Detect people, measure breathing and heart rate, #track movement, and monitor rooms — through walls, in the dark, with no cameras or wearables. Just physics.

π RuView is a WiFi sensing platform that turns radio signals into spatial intelligence.
Every WiFi router already fills your space with radio waves. When people move, breathe, or even sit still, they disturb those waves in measurable ways. RuView captures these disturbances using Channel State Information (CSI) from low-cost ESP32 sensors and turns them into actionable data: who's there, what they're doing, and whether they're okay.

What it senses:

Presence and occupancy — detect people through walls, count them, track entries and exits
Vital signs — breathing rate and heart rate, contactless, while sleeping or sitting
Activity recognition — walking, sitting, gestures, falls — from temporal CSI patterns
Environment mapping — RF fingerprinting identifies rooms, detects moved furniture, spots new objects
Sleep quality — overnight monitoring with sleep stage classification and apnea screening

Bitwarden is dying...?

Bitwarden has undergone quite a lot of major changes without any single public announcement, all of it being done quietly. The author who wrote about this quiet renovation at Bitwarden, has already migrated everything to Vaultwarden, the self-hosted version from Bitwarden Cloud.

- The phrase “Always free” disappeared from the personal password manager page in mid-April.

- Bitwarden used to define its culture with the acronym GRIT: Gratitude, Responsibility, Inclusion, and Transparency. After May 4th, that changed.
GRIT now stands for Gratitude, Responsibility, Innovation, and Trust. Inclusion and Transparency are out, while Innovation and Trust are in.

- A 2022 blog post by CEO Michael Crandell — “Defining and sustaining value for Bitwarden users” — was quietly edited. The GRIT list in the body now shows the new values: Innovation and Trust.

- Founder/former CEO Michael Crandell was quietly replaced by a new CEO and transitioned to an advisory role in February. The CFO was also replaced in April.

- The new CEO is Michael Sullivan (former CEO of Acquia and Insightsoftware), whose specialty is mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Private equity firms buy businesses, cut costs, grow revenue, and sell them at a profit. They’re not there to run a software company long-term — they’re managing an investment toward an exit. The people hired to run those companies are hired specifically because they know how that process works. That’s the new CEO of Bitwarden, as he oversaw a $1 billion acquisition of Acquia by Vista Equity Partners in 2019, and a $1 billion investment from Hg into Insightsoftware in 2021.

Yemen’s Prisoner Swap and the UAE–Israel Project Saudi Arabia Couldn’t Bury | 21st Century Wire

After January 2026, we were told that this decade-long tripartite between the UAE, Israel, and the Yemeni separatist Southern Transitional Council (STC) had been dismantled. But how much of that machinery still stands, under new flags and quieter names, waiting for the next round? Since January 2026, the noise has been about “dissolving” the #STC and managing Saudi–#UAE friction, but what almost no one has asked is whether the UAE–Israel island pact, its radars, runways and black‑site prisons strung along Yemen’s southern waters, ever stopped operating, or just slipped under friendlier flags.

Germany’s Military Patronage of Ukraine is a Crucial Part of Its Grand Strategy

Germany’s military patronage of Ukraine is a crucial part of its grand strategy and has been in the making since summer 2023. In brief, former Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s hegemonic manifesto from December 2022 made clear his country’s ambitions to recreate what’s been described elsewhere as “Fortress Europe” in current geopolitical conditions.

🇵🇸 How Israel is using militias and concrete blocks to seize what remains of Gaza

Israeli forces have pushed past the “Yellow Line” that divides the Gaza Strip in half and now control 65% of the territory. Residents call the new border Gaza’s “apartheid wall.”

A German man jokingly called former Chancellor Olaf Scholz a bastard on Twitter because his Fortnite download was crawling at 173KB/s. The tweet had 503 views.

Authorities investigated him for committing a criminal offense (insulting a politician) and he was forced to delete it.

Imagine what would happen if they get their way, ban end-to-end encryption, and monitor all of your private messages.

🇱🇧 Meet the Lebanese rescue workers being targeted by Israel

In a report from Southern #Lebanon, The Grayzone’s Wyatt Reed met with members of Nabatiyeh Rescue, who were repeatedly targeted by Israeli drone strikes as they attempted to rescue the victims of Israel’s ongoing military assault.

Wyatt spoke to crew’s chief, Captain Muhammad Sulaiman, who watched as his 16-year-old son, Joud, was killed by Israeli forces while attempting to deliver food to civilians in the war zone just two months prior.
