The other day, a piece briefly appeared on the front page of Norwegian state broadcaster NRK, and it was quite literally gone within 1-2 hours; not ‘gone’ as in deleted, but ‘vanished’ from the main page.

The use of medications for cardiovascular disease has skyrocketed among people as young as 18 in both Norway and Sweden.

*Last year, 37,700 more people aged 18 to 44 used medicines for cardiovascular disease, compared to 2019.

*In the 18–24 age group, there is an increase of 57 per cent over the past five years [2020-25, a quite easily discernible accounting trick used by public health officialdom, which permits ‘masking’ of any effects that may or may not have occurred after 28 Dec. 2020].

*Among those aged 30–34, the use of these medicines has increased by over 63 per cent in the same period.

According to media reports and statements from the #US Department of Defense and Central Command (#CENTCOM), the list includes 42 fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft (including drones) that were shot down, destroyed, or damaged during Operation "Epic Fury". It is noted: "The number of damaged or destroyed aircraft may be revised due to factors such as secrecy, ongoing combat operations, and ownership determination".

List of losses:

- Four F-15E Strike Eagle fighters;

- One F-35A Lightning II fighter;

- One A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft;

- Seven KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft;

- One E-3 Sentry (AWACS) aircraft;

- Two MC-130J Commando II special operations aircraft;

- One HH-60W Jolly Green II combat search and rescue helicopter;

- 24 MQ-9 Reaper drones (medium-altitude, long-range);

- A batch of MQ-4C Triton drones (high altitude, long range).

A peer-reviewed paper published last year in the journal Bioethics by two professors at Western Michigan University School of Medicine argues that it is "morally obligatory" to genetically engineer ticks to spread alpha-gal syndrome, a permanent condition that makes you violently allergic to red meat.

The paper is called "Beneficial Bloodsucking."

Their argument: if eating meat is morally wrong, then preventing the spread of a disease that forces people to stop eating meat is also morally wrong. Scientists should gene-edit lone star ticks to enhance their ability to carry alpha-gal syndrome and expand their range into urban environments to infect more people.

They call this a "moral bioenhancer." They frame releasing genetically modified disease-carrying ticks as a "vaccination" that only "infringes" on your bodily autonomy rather than "violating" it. The distinction, apparently, is that a tick bit you instead of a government official holding you down.

Alpha-gal syndrome is not mild. The CDC estimates up to 450,000 Americans are already affected. Cases have surged 100-fold in the last decade. Symptoms include anaphylaxis. There is no cure.

Alpha-gal cases are exploding across the United States. The lone star tick's range is expanding far beyond its historical territory. And two academics at a medical school published a paper arguing this is a good thing that should be accelerated.

At what point do we stop treating papers like this as fringe academic exercises and start asking whether anyone is already acting on them?

Farmers have figured out that the cheapest pesticide is a strip of flowers.

When you plant wildflowers through a crop field, not just around the edge but in strips running through the middle, you get ladybugs, lacewings, hoverflies, and parasitic wasps living in the field instead of visiting it.

They eat the aphids, the caterpillars, and the mites for free, all summer long.

In controlled trials, fields with tailored flower strips had leaf-beetle numbers 40 to 50% lower and crop damage cut by around 60%, enough to drop below the threshold where spraying was even considered worth it.
