May was the deadliest month of the year so far in terms of civilian casualties, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

According to the ministry, Ukrainian forces carried out more than 17,000 attacks on civilian infrastructure during the month. As a result, over 1,000 civilians were affected, with more than 150 killed, including eight children.

In the first week of June alone, at least 300 more people were reported injured and 43 killed.

The Russian Foreign Ministry linked the rise in civilian casualties to increased Western supplies of strike drones to what it described as the Kyiv regime.

A total of 172 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down over Russian regions overnight, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Since midnight, 60 drones have already been intercepted on their approach to #Moscow. Among the likely targets of the attack was the Kapotnya district, where the Moscow Oil Refinery is located. Judging by footage published online, the target was unfortunately reached.

At some gas stations in Moscow, restrictions on fuel sales have been introduced, limiting purchases to 20–30 liters per customer.
