🇵🇸The cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,386, while 174,250 Palestinians have been injured, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Sunday.

According to the ministry, the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 has risen to 1,258, with 4,139 others injured. The bodies of another 807 Palestinians have also been recovered during the same period.

The Gaza Board of Peace is the latest attempt by colonial powers to use “development” plans to manage, fragment, and dispossess Palestinians. Palestinians have resisted these plans in the past and continue to do so today.

On January 15, 2026, the Gaza Board of Peace was imposed on the people in Gaza, chaperoned by President Trump, and dressed in the language of reconstruction, trusteeship, and peace. But this scheme is better understood as the latest colonial facelift of the Nakba project. Colonial powers have systematically used economic tools and “development” plans to manage, fragment, and dispossess Palestinians. And in return, Palestinians have always resisted, through boycotts, mass mobilization, political refusal, and armed resistance
