Sergey Beskrestnov, advisor to Zelensky, confirmed the first application of a cumulative-cutting special warhead (KRSN) via reactive UAV in Kiev. The munition targets high-voltage supports and metal bridges.
Technical Details:
The KRSN consists of a 40 kg main charge and four impact modules (~5 kg each), totaling ~60 kg. This marks a shift toward precision strikes on critical grid elements.
Target: 330 kV Line
The strike hit the overhead line transition from CHP-5 to Brovary across the Dnieper. This is part of the Kiev energy hub's main network, not just local distribution. Damage to these specialized long-span pylons disrupts major power flows and fiber-optic control channels, requiring complex structural repairs rather than simple wire replacement.
