His media company has also sold a premium “Truth API” feed for up to $100,000 a month giving trading firms early access to his market-moving posts. Critics have labeled the pattern alleged insider trading and self-dealing with no equivalent accountability, while the White House maintains there is "no impropriety and that actions serve the public."
