🇵🇸 On eve of ICJ session, Euro-Med Monitor provides OHCHR, South African legal team with document detailing most prominent mass graves in Gaza Strip
Geneva - The South African legal team and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) were provided with an initial memorandum from Euro-Med Monitor yesterday detailing the most prominent mass graves established in the Gaza Strip during Israel’s ongoing genocide, launched on 7 October.
Euro-Med Monitor has also provided South Africa’s legal team with other memoranda about Israel’s mass killings, targeting of the Gaza Strip’s health sector, and various outcomes of the genocidal war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since South Africa submitted an application to institute proceedings against Israel on 29 December 2023. South Africa is charging Israel with genocide in the Strip, citing Israeli violations under the Genocide Convention.
